Did you know that we are now an Approved Sumitomo Fusion Splicer Service and Maintenance Centre?

Our Systems Engineer and Product Manager for Data Centre Solutions, Vibin Varghese, recently completed his Sumitomo Fusion Splicer Service and Maintenance training at the Sumitomo Electric Europe’s Service Centre.

After an intense week of training of which Vibin successfully completed, we are now an Approved Sumitomo Servicing and Maintenance Centre.

Vibin has already been hard at work servicing our clients’ splicers and cleavers, and repairing those that need a little more attention. He has also conducted internal training to enable other members of the Team to conduct a health check on all Sumitomo products.

Regular servicing and maintenance of fusion splicing equipment helps ensure reliable performance and minimise costly downtime. As an Approved Sumitomo Service and Maintenance Centre, Leader Optec provides servicing, calibration and repair support for Sumitomo T-72C, T-72C+ and T-502S fusion splicers from our North Wales facility.
