What are your general lead times?
Fibre Assemblies
We are a component and assembly stockist, as well as a manufacturer meaning many lines are available for next day delivery and for bespoke made items, lead times are often 3-4 days. For large and highly specialised projects we would work with you to provide the best service and lead time possible.
Tooling, Test and Measurement
We keep a large stock holding of best-selling test and measurement items, available for same day dispatch. Please contact our sales team for a lead time.
Jonard promoted product - we hold stock for next day service, however Jonard has a huge product range which are available on approximately 2-week lead time. To see the full Jonard range, visit www.jonard.com, and as an official distributor, we can provide these items upon request.
Sumitomo – As an official distributor, we stock the most popular T72C+ Splicer and FC-6RS-C Cleaver for same-day dispatch. For larger quantities and other Sumitomo product, please contact us for discount and availability.
There is a fibre product I want that I cannot see on your website - Can you source it for me?
Yes! Our website displays all our core items, however there are many items we provide that are not listed. Do not hesitate to request a product from our sales team.
Do you hold stock?
Yes! We hold a wide range of our most popular products in stock – if you have ongoing demand for an item, that we don’t currently stock, we can look at holding it for you.
Our most-popular test and measurement products, pigtails and duplex patch leads, some patch panels, as well as consumables such as cleaning items are mostly kept in stock. For availability, please contact us.
Services
Do you offer a repair service (Evaluation)?
Yes! We offer a service, repair, evaluation for most of our fibre assemblies and can arrange calibration for test and measurement equipment.
Do you have an R&D department?
Yes, we have a products and process research and development team. This team is committed to innovation, efficiency drives and quality improvements which we hope will lead to time saving and overall cost reductions to provide you with the best value possible.
Do your goods come with a warranty?
Our products are made to a high standard, quality assured. All cable assemblies, components, and containment, including Lite Linke solutions, are thoroughly checked and tested prior to despatch. All goods are suitably packed and protected for transportation.
Provided they are handled and installed correctly, the product should be working long into the future. However, in the event that you are not satisfied with your purchase then we will do all we can to rectify the problem.

Sumitomo Electric offer a standard three-year warranty that can be extended to five years on application.
Delivery & Returns
Can you ship worldwide?
Yes, we can arrange shipments to most parts of the world, or we can work with your shipping partner. We would advise to check the UK foreign policy at the time to ensure there are no restrictions in place.
What are your shipping costs and options available?
Check out our Delivery Information page for costs. Please however be mindful that freight charges are weight and service dependent. Leader Optec uses third party carriers which are susceptible to market price changes. It’s best to check with the sales team for an accurate quote.
What is your returns policy?

Yes, to arrange a collection, please call our sales team to confirm collection time.
Payment
What payment methods do you accept?
For online transactions we accept most internationally recognised credit/debit cards via our payment system Stripe and PayPal. If placing an order through an account manager, we accept credit/debit cards and bank transfer.
