Introducing Our New VSFF MDC Solution

We are thrilled to announce the launch of our VSFF MDC Solution. In collaboration with US Conec, a pioneer in high-density optical interconnects, we have integrated their cutting-edge ELiMENT® MDC connector into our latest Data Centre solution.

ELiMENT® MDC Connectors: Redefining Connectivity

US Conec’s ELiMENT® MDC Duplex connector offers configurability for field polarity, facilitates easy insertion and extraction through an integrated push/pull boot, and boasts up to three times the density of Duplex LC connectors. This ensures the MDC platform's capability to effectively manage the high-density fibre challenges present in contemporary data centre environments.

Leveraging the same established and reliable 1.25mm ferrule technology as LC connectors, the MDC connection guarantees the reliability and performance standards demanded by installers.

Lite Linke: Elevating MTP® Solutions

Our long-term relationship with US Conec stems from adopting the MTP® PRO as our MPO connector of choice. Used solely within our Lite Linke branded data centre solution, US Conec componentry was used to provide one of the first 144f in a 1U chassis. Now making use of the higher density MDC, each Lite Linke cassette accommodates 48 fibres, enabling up to 288 fibres in a 1U panel.

Our Lite Linke suite of products only utilises best-in-class components, coupled with in-house design and UK manufacturing to meet network demands in an ever-evolving digital landscape. Lite Linke solutions are centred around high-density MTP® Pro solutions for Data Centre applications.

Compact Design, Maximum Performance

The new MDC cassette solution for hyperscale data centres forms part of the Lite Linke suite of products. All of our Lite Linke solutions feature a compact design, aimed at saving space without compromised performance.

MDC’s four cable format has a QSFP footprint while the two-cable format has an SFP footprint. This allows for direct coupling into MDC optical transceiver.
