Sales & Marketing Team Growth

Our Sales and Marketing Team is expanding. Sam Jenkins re-joins Leader Optec as a Product Manager and Millie Gilbertson joins the Marketing Team as Marketing Assistant.

Introducing Sam Jenkins. 

Sam originally worked for Leader Optec back in 1998. He worked within our production facility mastering fibre termination, polishing and testing before moving to our R&D team, so he already has a strong understanding of our business and areas of specialism. After five years of dedicated service, Sam embarked on new adventures in his career, gaining diverse experience in various roles across multiple industries.

Sam rejoins the team as Product Manager, a role that will be instrumental in supporting both our Sales team and existing Product Managers. In his new role, Sam focus will be to further develop our Fibre-To-The-Home (FTTH) product set, ensuring alignment with the evolving needs of our customers and market.

Sam said “I am thrilled to return to Leader Optec and embrace this exciting opportunity. My previous experiences have equipped me with a versatile skill set, and I look forward to contributing to the success of the company once again”.

Introducing Millie Gilbertson.

Millie Gilbertson, a recent Graduate with a degree in Football Business and Marketing, has joined Leader Optec’s team in the role of Marketing Assistant. After gaining initial experience in another sector, Millie was eager to apply her knowledge and skills to the field of marketing.

In her role, Millie will assist in the execution of marketing strategies and campaigns to enhance Leader Optec’s brand presence. Her enthusiasm and fresh perspective are expected to invigorate the company’s marketing efforts, helping to reach new heights. With a new website currently in the works, Millie’s input will be invaluable.

Millie said "I’m excited to start my journey at Leader Optec and further develop my career in Marketing. I am eager to put my skills to the test and learn from the experienced team here”.
